Importing, scanning & annotating
Why auto-crop matters more than resolution
A high-resolution photo with two inches of tabletop around the page wastes the screen you paid for. Cropping is what makes the staves big enough to read at arm's length.
Every page the same size
Automatic edge detection trims to the printed area, so consecutive pages do not jump in scale as you turn.
Straightening as you go
Slight perspective from a hand-held photo is corrected on import, which removes the tilted-staff effect that makes scanned music tiring to read.
More music per screen
Tighter margins mean either larger notation or a workable two-page spread — both of which reduce how often you have to turn at all.
