Hands-free page turning

Blink to turn pages — the mechanics

Blink turning sounds risky until you understand what the app is actually looking for. It is not "an eye closed"; it is a specific, held pattern that natural blinking does not produce.

Deliberate vs involuntary

A reflex blink lasts roughly a tenth of a second. StageMate requires a longer, sustained closure — and you set how long — so ordinary blinking during a passage is ignored.

One eye or two

Depending on your settings you can use a full blink or a single-eye wink, which is useful for players who blink often under stage lights.

Privacy by design

The camera feed is processed frame by frame on-device and thrown away. Nothing is recorded, nothing is uploaded, and there is no face template stored anywhere.

Try it on your own scores
